VokThe term ‘dream-pop’ seems to be in constant use these days but with Icelandic band Vök it is surely at it’s most appropriate. The trio formed in the port town of Hafnarfjörður in 2013 by singer Margrét Rán, saxophonist Andri Már and percussionist Einar Hrafn. Consisting of floating electronics with melodic vocals, distant saxophones and clean reverberated guitars, Vök cite influences such as Air, Massive Attack and The XX , but their music is distinctly their own.

Playing songs from last year’s debut album ‘Figure’ the band perform a mesmerising five song set, including: Breaking Bones, BTO, Show Me, Figure and Polar.
